Privacy Policy

When you use Scrshot, we collect:

• Account information: Your name and email address from Google when you sign in with Google OAuth.
• Screenshots you upload: The images you upload to generate App Store assets.
• Generated images: The AI-generated screenshots we create for you.
• Usage data: How many credits you have, your generation history, and basic analytics.
• Payment information: Processed by DodoPayments. We don't store your credit card details.

• To provide the service: Your screenshots are sent to our configured AI providers (Google Gemini and/or OpenAI) to generate styled assets.
• To communicate with you: We send transactional emails (welcome, credit purchase) via Resend.
• To improve the service: Basic analytics help us understand usage patterns.

We use these services to operate Scrshot:

• Google Gemini / OpenAI: AI image and template generation
• Vercel: Hosting and blob storage for images
• Neon: PostgreSQL database
• DodoPayments: Payment processing
• Resend: Transactional emails

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. Your data is processed according to their terms.

• Your account: Kept until you request deletion.
• Uploaded screenshots: Stored for your convenience in the History tab. You can request deletion.
• Generated images: Stored indefinitely so you can re-download them.
• Email logs: Kept to prevent duplicate emails.

You can:

• Access your data: Email us and we'll send you what we have.
• Delete your account: Email us and we'll remove your data.
• Export your images: Download any image from your History.

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We don't use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

We use HTTPS everywhere. Database connections are encrypted. We don't store payment details—that's handled by DodoPayments.

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll email you. Minor changes (typos, clarifications) won't trigger notifications.
